WHAT DOES THE SOCIALÂ CHAIR DO?
As Community Building Chair, you will organize and plan events for HUVA members to enjoy! HUVA brings together lots of different students from across grounds and social events are a great way to get to know your fellow club members.
IMPACT
Habitat for Humanity is not just an organization that builds houses for those in need, it creates communities for families. In a similar way, organizing and planning events helps to create a community of HUVA members who can share their passion for affordable housing together
PAST AND FUTURE EVENTS
Popsicles on the Lawn -- a fun events where we shared popsicles and got to meet each other early in the fall semester
Virtual Game Nights -- now a biweekly online event that we hold to connect HUVA members and give people a space to have some fun in the middle of a busy week
S'mores on the Lawn -- an event to celebrate the end of the semester and share some delicious s'mores together
Bodos on the Lawn -- another even to hang out with each other and share our plans for the Spring semester
