Why you joined HUVA: I believe accessibility to stable, safe, and affordable homes is crucial in prioritizing health and overall wellbeing. I also remember watching my dad work at the building sites as a young child and thinking I wanted to do that one day too.

Why you joined HUVA: I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity throughout high school and its mission of bringing people together to build forever homes, communities, and hope continues to resonate with me. By joining HUVA and working as the YLT coordinator, I have had the incredible opportunity to closely connect with Habitat and the Charlottesville community!

Why you joined HUVA: I heard about Habitat for Humanity in high school but the first time I was able to get involved was at UVA. I was very excited to help the UVA community while making new friends.I felt like me and my peers weren’t paying enough attention to the housing issues directly in our community so educating others has been a priority of mine while in this club.I can’t wait to be able to build this year!
